Simon Says Stamp Stacked Die Cuts + Distress Ink Background

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a couple more Christmas Cards with you! It should come to no surprise that these were easy to make and came together quickly.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I gotta be honest peeps, I didn't really have a plan with these. I had a little bit of this going and a little bit of that going and after (more than) a few squirrel moments, I pulled it all together and made these two cards.

I started with the Simon Says Stamp Lined Tree Die and the Simon Says Stamp Happy Winter and Christmas Dies. I thought I had an idea for these, so like a crazy lady, I die cut a bunch out of Neenah White Cardstock and then I glued them all together with Ranger Multi Medium Matte Adhesive. Then I realized I didn't have a plan. At all.

For the background, I used Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint and Twisted Citron on Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock. On both Panels, I loosely colored each color in light layers, making sure to dry the Panel with my Heat Gun in between before I added more.

When I came to the realization to pull this all together and make cards out of them, I used the "Happy Christmas" Sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Circle Sayings Stamp Set and "Merry" from the Gifts of Love Stamp Set also by Simon Says Stamp. I stamped them with Versamark Ink and Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder.

To finish them off, I used the Jillibean Soup Self Adhesive Sequins from the Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit.

That's it! Easy peasy. In a I haven't a clue where I'm going or what I'm doing sort of way.

Up next, I will be showing some Avery Elle love. In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed my cards today!

Until next time!
