Hero Arts and Quick Zig Clean Color Watercoloring + Sneak Peak

Hey folks!

Happy New Year! I hope that everyone is having a blast ringing in 2016!

I cannot BUH-leive this is my last 2015 post! Wow time has flown by so fast. Even though I have absolutely NO plans tonight, besides stuffing my face and staring at the T.V. (because we are cool like that), I'm going to keep this as short as possible.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

It is ridiculous how fast these were to put together. I stamped four Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock Panels with the Hero Arts Snowflake Sampler Stamp. I heat embossed them all with Versamark Ink and Ranger White Embossing Powder.

I also stamped the some Sentiments from the Hero Arts Christmas Crystals Stamp Set with the same Ink and Powder on Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock.

I Die Cut each Panel with the Stitched Rectangle Die from the Bundle of Stitched Shapes by Simon Says Stamp. I use this A LOT! I love it. I also use it to Die Cut the Inside Panel.

I scribbled Zig Clean Color Real Brushes in Light Carmine, Carmine Red, Light Green and Green on my Ranger Craft Sheet and picked each color, for each line up with a 3/4" Flat Ranger Paint Brush. I worked in layers on each color. I made sure each layer was dry before I added another. I wanted to make sure each color popped.

I took four more Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock Panels and using the same colors, colored around the edges of each one. I mounted everything to a Neenah White Cardstock Card Base.

To finish these guys off, I added some DMC Silver Embroidery Floss and a few Marshmallow Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it! Easy Peasy. I would say this was probably a half hour from start to finish for all four cards. I just love quick and easy. I also love getting a set of cards done before the timer on the dryer goes off!

It's taking me a little bit to switch from Christmas/Winter to Valentine's Day, so I don't know what I'll have to share here on Monday. HOWEVER I will have a blog post for you at Butterfly Reflections, Ink on Monday! Woot! You can see a lil sneaky peaky in the picture below.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed my cards today! Have fun, be safe peeps!
