Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit - No Line Watercoloring

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a couple more cards using Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit.

I'm kind of on the fence with these. I wanted to try No Line Watercoloring for the first time. I'm super duper happy with the results, but once I had that done, my brain went on vacay and I struggled to get them together. It's cool though, I'm gonna power through and share them anyway!!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

I created masks for my Images using the Apple of My Pie Stamp Set on Inkadinkado Stamp Masking Paper and Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen. I simply chose this ink because I had it out to stamp my Images, but any ink would do.

I also used my MISTI Stamping Tool to stamp all of the Images on Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I wanted to make sure the Images would stamp solid and the MISTI works great for that!

To color them in I chose Derwent Inktense Watercolor Pencils. These are some of my faves for watercoloring!

I die cut the Circle Card Panel with a Stitched Circle Die and the second with Stitched Rectangle Die both from Simon Says Stamp.

On both cards, I stamped the sentiments with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with Gold Simon Says Stamp Embossing Powder. I also used the Leaf Stamps from the Apple of My Pie Stamp Set and stamped them on Simon Says Stamp Green Leaf Cardstock with the Matching Ink.

To finish them off I added Clear Wink of Stella to the highlights, a strip of DCWV Gold Foil Cardstock to the Circle Card and some Hero Arts Pearl Accents to both. The Twine on the Circle Card is actually from the My Monthly Her Kit by Hero Arts. It came wrapped around the package and I thought I'd use it. The more I think about it though, I could have left this off and been better for it. Just don't know when to quit I suppose....kinda like my kids...and my husband...and the cat, sometimes.

That's it peeps! Easy Peasy!

Today starts week 4 of Jennifer McGuire Share Handmade Kindness Challenge. This week is all about Sharing Handmade Kindness with strangers. It could be anyone!

Up next, I will have a card to share using the Hero Arts Acts of Kindness Stamp Set. Don't forget if you purchase this set and the Hero Arts Bit of Kindness Stamp, 25% of the purchase goes to the Kind Campaign!

I hope you enjoyed my cards today, You can also join me on social media by clicking the Social Media Icons at the top of my page! I would love to see you there!!
