Watercolor Mama Elephant

Hey there!
In case ya'll haven't gotten enough of me using Derwent Inktense Watercolor Pencils, I've gotta another for you! I tell ya, I have Copic's, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Markers and these. I honestly love, love, love them all. I feel I'm reaching for these a lot lately because they are soo easy to use. The colors? The colors are Ah-Mazing!
I would also like to point out that the Charmed Stamp Set by Mama Elephant is like the sweetest thing EVER! They make me smile! In fact, I have at least one more card planned with this lovely set.

So. I kept this one really simple. I stamped all of the images on a piece of Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Hero Arts Black Ink. I also stamp a small section of the Wreath on a small strip of Post-It Tape so I could mask off a small section to add the Branch.

Inlaid Die Cutting and Inktense

Hey folks!
I'm back! Whew! What a trip! I've come to the conclusion that I am not an electrician. Spending the extra time with my husband was great, but electrical work is not my gig. I shall stick to paper crafting. For real.
So, I've had Catherine Pooler on my mind the last couple of days. Well, because A) she fabulous and B) I subscribe to her blog and have had a few emails from her lately. She's been a busy girl and has something really cool coming up for all of us crafty peeps, so be sure to go to her blog and see what's up. Anyway, what I've been thinking about is how much she loves inlaid die cutting and it got the ol' wheels turning in my head.
If you're interested in any of the products I've used I will have links for you at the end of the post!
I usually won't buy anything unless I have a plan for it, but I am over the moon for the Butterfly Tendrils Die from Simon Says Stamp and bought it anyway. So, when I got to thinking about wha…

Hey folks!
I'm still on a job site with my husband in North Dakota. It's hot, dirty and I fear I will be carried away by mosquitos at any moment. I haven't electrocuted myself however, so it could be worse. I think I'm going to call  today a win. Sheesh.
So, I'm going to share with you yet another another card I made using the Simon Says Stamp July 2015 Card Kit. This has been a really fun kit. Never disappointed with Simon Says Stamp I tell ya! Oh and don't forget the Simon Says Stamp August 2015 Card Kit is out too! If you haven't gotten one, you should. For real. Also, you can never go wrong with the monthly subscription as well!
To begin with, I heat embossed the Sail Away Sentiment on a piece of Neenah White Cardstock with Versamark Ink and Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. Then using the Cloud Stamps, I made 2 masks with Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper and masked off a section over the Sentiment. I also heat embossed the Waves with Ranger Cle…
